About the Journal

HIPOTESA: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Pusat Penelitian Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, STIA Abdul Azis Kataloka Ambon.

The journal provides an academic platform for lecturers, researchers, practitioners, and other scholars to publish original research findings, theoretical studies, and scientific analyses in the field of social sciences.

HIPOTESA is published twice a year, in May and November.

The journal primarily focuses on issues related to Social Problems and other relevant developments in the social sciences. Its scope includes, but is not limited to:

• Community welfare and empowerment
• Social conflict and integration
• Social pathology
• Public policy and public administration
• Social institutions and community development
• Governance and public services

• Local and regional social issues

HIPOTESA welcomes manuscripts that employ qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and other appropriate scientific approaches.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to an editorial screening and peer-review process to maintain academic quality, originality, relevance, and scientific integrity.

As an open-access journal, HIPOTESA is committed to making scientific knowledge widely accessible and to supporting the dissemination of research that contributes to the development of society, public policy, and the advancement of social sciences.
